The Hardest Part is Deciding.
If choice is not your thing, The Amish Peddler is not for you. For
instance, we don't just offer chairs. We offer nearly a 100 different
styles. And almost every piece of furniture in our extensive collection
can be custom-ordered to fit your taste with more than 75
combinations of rich woods and stains. Not to mention your choice
of hardware in wood, porcelain and 11 different metals, ranging
from Weathered Copper to Black Nickel.
The Art of Hardware.
Drawer pulls and other elements provide the finishing touch to your
Amish selection. Most of our furniture is available in your choice of
hardware options, although some may require a slight additional up
charge.
Your Furniture. Your Way.
In most stores, the furniture on display is equivalent to the stuff
you'll find under the heat lamps at the average fast food joint. You
don't know who made it, or how long it's been there. But at The
Amish Peddler, our Amish builders don't start the construction
process until we receive your order. And from that point forward,
the job is tracked by your name, so that each craftsman knows the
person they're building it for. You can either select from thousands
of unique styles, or work with your furniture consultant to create a
piece of furniture that's truly one of a kind. Either way, the final
result will be an exceptional piece of hand-crafted furniture, built to
beautifully withstand the test of time.
A note about wood.
Unless otherwise stated, our furniture is available in all seven of the
wood types we offer.
Drawer Slides
Our standard drawer slides are concealed beneath the drawer,
exposing dovetail joinery in full, unobstructed view. The rollers are
self-lubricating to ensure years of smooth operation.
Just as they sound. Completely concealed, heavy duty, and
dependable. Smart slides fully extend to view everything in a drawer
and include a concealed spring-loaded system that allows the drawer
to easily self-close 1-1/4" from the cabinet and stay retracted until
pulled open again.
Furniture marked with this symbol comes standard with smart slides.
But let us know, for a fee, they can come on any drawer.
